Thanks. I mean to watch the market and study the market for at least a year. Learn what P/E means and dividends and shares traded and how currencies fluctuate. It is not about looking at a one year history. It is learning and practicing on paper before you invest. Know what the difference is between the tic and whether the price is up or down for the day. Learn everything.

Hi great video ! It’s nice to see someone with a realistic view making videos to help out beginners here on you tube.
I’m very new to this and I have a (probably stupid) question. You say we need to watch a stock for at least an year … do you mean we should check out the stock’s history for the last year ?And if not why should we wait for an entire year and not just see the history of the stock ?
Also is there a huge difference between stock and currency markets?

Legally either get lucky in Las Vegas or wait for hyper inflation which will make the dollars more plentiful but less valuable. The best ideas I think are being stable with a source of income for about 40 hours weekly and work on your dream in your spare time. Read how Walt Disney and Warren Buffett and Howard Hughes and Bill Gates and Leiber and Stoller made their income. Good luck. Thanks.

You would not be able to buy stock in the Bank of England or the Federal Reserve. The best play to make money with the government is to buy bonds, either federal or state or municipal or a bond fund. With interest rates low now it would not be wise to buy long term bonds. If you buy short term, 6 months or a year, then you can purchase again at perhaps a much higher rate of return. There are many private banks which sell shares. Thanks.

@Featureman thanks for the reply, my knowledge of the stock market is very limited so any info helps. can i ask you just one more question? is it possible to buy or invest stocks in the bank of england? or say the federal reserve? thanks for your time.

Not quite the same. With the market and other investments it is very possible to make money while you sleep. If you fall asleep at the crap table they will throw you out of the casino. Depending on how a person invests some investments are much riskier than others. My last two stock purchases are down from where I bought them but I have not lost anything. I can hold them and collect nice dividends until they decide to come back. There are other differences. Thanks.
