I own a 1988 Mazda B2200 pickup. If it sits for two days or more the battery becomes dead with no juice to start it. I have installed a new battery and checked the alternator and it charges at 13.90 volts. I take the battery connections off and on and there is no spark showing a short. How do I find the short in the electrical system. would appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks in advance Doug

Does anyone know of a book that would help me identify antique abandoned autos on my property?
Dec 25
I have some wooded property in Arkansas that has many old antique salvage automobiles (many still with engines, tires, etc) and I would love to know if there is a book out there that might offer a pictorial history of American make and models from the 30′s all the way to what appears to be the late 60′s. I would love to know more about some of the history of a few of these cars but have no way to exactly pinpoint the year they were made and on a few old Mercurys, Im not even sure of the make. Thanks a million!
Bonus tip: Don’t idle your engine to let it warm up before driving. It does your engine no good and it wastes gas. Instead, start driving right away, but drive gently until the engine is warm.
Is it just me or does starting a cold engine and throwing it in gear with no oil in it for lubrication sound like a good way to tear up a good car?
I am starting the South Beach Diet, and plan on exercising throughout to maximize my weight loss effort. However, I know that my body is going to feel very sluggish during the first 2 weeks as it is so adjusted to having an abundance of carbs. How critical is it to exercise during those first two weeks?
I heard it’s good to have a car from a good car company that after time will still have parts for your old car. Does anyone know which car company is the best in this standard? I think local mechanics would know best. I plan on getting a car and stick with it for a long time.
Thank you in advance for your help
I’m a 21 year old male, I’m 5’11″ and weigh around 13 and a half stone (188 pounds). I want to lose some weight quickly. A few months back I lost over a stone and a half in about three months just from eating a more sensible diet, with hardly any extra exercise. Unfortunately this weight has now crept back on again! I’d like to lose between a stone and a half and two stones more quickly now. Does anyone have any tips about how much daily exercise I should do – and what types also – in order to lose weight healthily and quickly? Thanks.
I’m really not into sports. I’ve tried badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and swimming, and I don’t like all of them. I’ve tried going to the gym, but I just can’t motivate myself to make it a habit. I’m trying to slim down a bit but I don’t know what exercise is good for me since I easily get bored with normal workouts and stuff. Can you recommend any fun sport/exercise/workout technique?
